Initially set for release on June 30th, the album’s street date has been pushed forward, now set to hit the streets on June 16th, and today, the entire anthem-packed, fourteen-track record is now playing two weeks before its new official public destination through an exclusive early stream at Blow The Scene magazine and below! The God Rhythm is fueled with the same infectious brew of oi/punk-inspired hardcore WISDOM IN CHAINS has been internationally championed for delivering on their prior four full-length titles and many other releases since their 2001 inception, but here the band delivers their most heroic tunes, investigative lyrics, and memorable choruses yet. With almost forty minutes of hook-laden sing-alongs and metallic breaks built for full-on live riots, recorded by Len Carmichael at Trax East and Carmichael Sound, with the vocals recorded at Mountainside Studios by Rich Rescigno, The God Rhythm boasts the most victorious WISDOM IN CHAINS material to date.
Having just stormed the mighty Black N’ Blue Bowl in NYC, WISDOM IN CHAINS has confirmed the details of their home turf record release show for the new album, with an outdoor BBQ event planned at Club Reverb in Reading, Pennsylvania on June 27th, with support from Strength For A Reason, Yesterday’s Youth and more. The band will also return to This Is Hardcore Festival on July 23rd, the multi-day fest to once again overthrow Philadelphia with WISDOM IN CHAINS set to join the likes of the Misfits, The Exploited, the Cro-Mags, Negative Approach, Chokehold, Nails, All Out War, Bane, Biohazard and many others. August will see the band returning to Europe, confirmed to perform at Brutal Assault in the Czech Republic in early August with At The Gates, Cannibal Corpse, Killing Joke, Napalm Death, Nuclear Assault, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Triptykon and endless others, with a set of tour dates surrounding the festival to be announced in the coming days.
