West Virginia metalcore act ZAO (currently is residing in New York City, Southern California and Western Pennsylvania) have issued a short statement confirming the recording process of their 11th studio album, a follow-up to their 2009 record called “Awake?”. The band commented:
Jeff is currently (as in pretty much now) doing some final tweaks to the basic tracks of the first batch of Zao songs for the new recordings, and getting ready to tackle a 2nd batch in the coming months. In the meantime, this album came out today that he played the drums on by the NYC metal band IKILLYA (they have since found a permanent drummer). It’s out today on Megaforce records and can be streamed in full at Loudwire.
