As mentioned a couple of weeks back, emotional hardcore / screamo punks from Prague’s REMEK have prepared a brand new record that has now been made available online! Stonehenge Records and MFL are taking care of the physical distrubution and GATTACA are teaming up with them to promote the new outing on the road. Listen below and be sure to catch them live this Summer!
Here’s the official word:
By the end of next week the new REMEK LP will be out. It has about 23 minutes and it is released by Stonehenge Records and Music For Liberation. There are 500 copies on partly screenprinted black vinyl. The first opportunity to get is will be probably on 4th May in Toulon during our tour with Gattaca. We uploaded the whole record to bandcamp (https://remekdiy.bandcamp.
com/album/lp ) so you can download it for free or for donation of your choice (all the money go to a benefit fund under Coffee Breath project).All the songs were recorded at Blum’s studio in Gattaca rehearsal room in December 2013. Will Killingsworth (of Ampere, Orchid etc.) mixed it in December 2013 and January 2014 in his Dead Air Studios in Amherst, MA. Illustrations on the cover and in the booklet were done by Simona, our bass player, and the cover and vinyl was screenprinted by Christophe.
