“Psithurism Astronauts” – other-worldly post metallers BRAINSWITCH premiere new video!

1 min read

With their recent epic concept album “Sun Worship Kingdom” (Geenger Records), Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina based atmospheric post metal act BRAINSWITCH are giving us the latest glimpse into their mesmerizing soundscapes, sharing new video for the track “Psithurism Astronauts”! Directed & Edited by the band’s guitarist Goran Tiro, the video can be watched exclusivwly above!

The band’s new ten-track concept album portrays a generation’s utopian experience in a dystopian environment. GO HERE and HERE to learn more about it and watch their previous video for the track “Bow Down To The Sun”.

Asked about the meaning of the song, the band commented: “This song is about a ‘love-hate’ relationship with the environment we live in. There are so many things to love and enjoy and at the same time so many negative aspects just draining you down. It is a call to a philosopher to come to our town, not to despair, but to find beauty in a motionless circle. It is about duality, about the place that is awake and vivid in the light and lifeless and desolate in the dark. That duality is the theme of this video.”

Psithurism Astronauts lyrics:

Dive into the Sun
And step away.
Dive into the Sun.

Come and find us through the flares,
In our small town of despair.
Feel the Sun, feel the Sun,
In this Kingdom made of scars.

Come inhale this summer breeze,
Close your eyes, you’ll find the way,
Feel the Sun, feel the Sun,
Ride the wave before it’s done.
