In a thrilling announcement for post-metal enthusiasts, Ipecac Records has confirmed a special vinyl reissue of two early EPs by the seminal band Isis: ‘The Mosquito Control EP’ from 1998 and ‘The Red Sea’ from 1999. This highly anticipated re-release is set to drop on November 10th and comes with freshly reimagined artwork.

But here’s the catch: the exclusive 2LP vinyl package will feature a limited-edition “Maroon” variant, restricted to just 300 copies. As such, fans of the groundbreaking band are advised to place their orders promptly to secure this collectible item.

Ipecac Recordings took to social media to herald the news, stating, “We’re excited to bring back two of Isis’ early EPs, this time packaged together in a 2LP Widespine Jacket with new artwork and limited color variants.”

With a legacy that has profoundly influenced the post-metal scene, these early works by Isis are essential listening. The reissue offers both longtime fans and newcomers a chance to own a tangible piece of the band’s foundational history—now with a visually and sonically enhanced treatment.

Pre-orders for the reissue are already underway and can be placed at the link provided by Ipecac Records. Given the limited quantity and the enduring legacy of the band, this release is expected to sell out quickly.
