THISQUIETARMY are coming back to Europe for a crazy 2 months tour which includes a lot of support shows for CASPIAN and YEAR OF NO LIGHT and the Denovali Swingfest performance.
The one man project will also release Exorcism 12″ vinyl on Denovali Records soon! It will feature the recordings of 2 THISQUIETARMY performances at the Christ’s Church Cathedral in Hamilton for the New Harbours Music Series. Go here to read more about the outing.

thisquietarmy is the experimental guitar-based project of Eric Quach from Montreal, Canada – active since 2005. Revolving around improvised drone music, he takes his sonic experimentations further by adding textural and structural elements of post-punk/shoegaze, krautrock/spacerock & black/doom metal to them. The results can be described as dark, melodic, expansive & engaging dreamscapes. His live performances are mostly presented as a real-time score to hypnotic ethereal visuals, which he creates himself for each performance.
Forthcoming releases on Denovali Records and past works on Aurora Borealis (UK), Basses Fréquences (FR), Lunasylum (BE), Orange Milk (US), Alien8 Recordings (CA), Killer Pimp (US), three:four (CH), Foreshadow (PL) & Elevation (US).
thisquietarmy has also collaborated extensively with Aidan Baker (Nadja), Monarch!, Scott Cortez (Lovesliescrushing) & yellow6, and has several side-projects: Destroyalldreamers, Mains de Givre, Parallel Lines & Ghidrah.
With already such a large body of work released & more than hundred live performances all over Canada, USA & Europe, thisquietarmy is a forward contender as a pioneer of the experimental music scene emerging from Canada.
