Get ready for it my friends, D.O.A., Canada’s punk legends, the masters of mayhem and punk anthems continue their Farewell Tour, with stops in North America and Australia. Dates in China will be added shortly. The Men of Action start this tour in Texas, where they play five shows in the Lone Star state for the first time in 15 years. Then it continues in Vancouver, Friday February 7th at The Rickshaw Theatre, where Sudden Death hosts the WELCOME TO CHINATOWN live album release party.
February 7th is a great bill that features JENNY, SDR’s latest signing. This sharp band from Calgary will play songs from their first album on SDR: LOVE & POLITICS, they have an incredible live show! It’s part punk, part folk, all wild. Five acts in total that nite and the first 100 people through the door get a free copy of WELCOME TO CHINATOWN. Then D.O.A. tromps thru their favorite stomping ground, the Pacific Northwest, with six stops in Oregon and Washington. In April they continue down under with four shows in OZ. Five shows in China in early May will be announced soon.
The Godfathers of Hardcore have almost completed the production of their new live DVD: TO HELL N’ BACK. It is 90 minutes of non-stop live action, that features 30 classic D.O.A. tunes. The package includes a free copy of D.O.A’ s acclaimed 2012 studio album WE COME IN PEACE and a great bonus feature: In The Studio with D.O.A. But we need your help to complete this. The DVD has been driven and funded by you, the fan, and there are only 10 DAYS LEFT to contribute.
