Bridge 9 Records commented:
BoySetsFire have announced a slate of shows celebrating their 20th anniversary as a band. They’ll play their beloved record, After the Eulogy, all the way through at each gig. Support is expected to be announced soon. Check out the dates above and below.
After the Eulogy was originally released in 2000 on Victory Records and reissued the next year by Wind-Up Records and features some of the band’s most enduring material to date, like the opening one-two wallop of the fierce title track and desperate “Rookie”, the nearly balladic “My Life in the Knife Trade” and the pulsating “Twelve Step Hammer Program”.
The band added:
Dear friends in the US,
we know its been a long time coming but we have not forgotten you!
We are really happy to announce five shows on the East Coast where we will play our “After The Eulogy” album front-to-back plus many other songs. It’s an honor for us to celebrate our 20th birthday with you in Amityville, Asbury Park, Allston, Philly and Brooklyn.
Pre-Sale Tickets will be available on Friday, September 5th. We will announce support bands soon.
