Swiss terror RORCAL and Portugueuse doomsters PROCESS OF GUILT release a split

Video trailer by Chariot Of Black Moth.

RORCAL sees the light in Geneva (Switzerland) in 2006. After four efforts between 2007 and 2008 and more than 100 shows all over Europe, 2010 is marked by the band’s fifth block: HELIOGABALUS. Highly acclaimed by the public and the critics, this one marks a radical change in the band’s music. Obsessively dark and heavy, this 70 minutes monolithic piece sees RORCAL sink deeper into the abysses of sound. The Quintet is back with a third album in 2013 called VILAGVEGE whose guideline just appeared to be obvious. Like its source of inspiration, RORCAL music has no boundaries and VILAGVEGE is here to prove it. When Doom turns into Black, you can’t expect anything but chaos: 8 tracks straight to the point, nervous and furious like never before. After a live version of VILAGVEGE released early this year, the band continue their Black Metal inspiration to deliver their faster songs ever.

PROCESS OF GUILT  started their existence in early 2002 having their foundations firmly based in doom and dark music. In late 2006, after self-releasing the «Portraits of Regret» and «Demising Grace» demos, the four musicians gave a stronger and more concise production to their own brand of doom leading to the release of the debut album, «Renounce». In 2009,«Erosion» progressed even further from the post-doom sound crafted on their much lauded debut. 3 years after the release of «Erosion», Process of Guilt finally return with their most accomplished effort to date. «FÆMIN» builds upon 5 concise tracks, shorter for the band standards, but overall more intense and scorching than anything they’ve done before. Steadily moving through dynamic rhythm changes, the band explores a more diverse vocal approach, mantra-like grooves, a crushing rhythm session, an everlasting love for feedback and more huge riffs than you can ask for in under 45 minutes. With «FÆMIN», Process of Guilt paint desolate sonic landscapes and dig their own place in the scene even deeper. These 3 tracks that appears on the split are the more slow and loud songs ever composed by PROCESS OF GUILT.
