THE WORLD IS A BEAUTIFUL PLACE & I AM NO LONGER AFRAID TO DIE entered the Silver Bullet Studios in Burlington, CT and began the recording process of their upcoming full-length album! The band will also release a split 7” with ROZWELL KID on June 23rd via Broken World Media and a new 7” called “Death To New Years” on July 28 via Topshelf Records.

Epitaph is proud to announce the signing of The World is a Beautiful Place & I am No Longer Afraid to Die, a Connecticut-based atmospheric post-emo band founded in 2009. The band enters Silver Bullet Studios in Burlington, Connecticut today to begin recording a new album.

The World is a Beautiful Place will release a split 7″ Rozwell Kid out June 23 via Broken World Media and a brand new 2-song 7″ Death To New Years on July 28 via Topshelf Records. Details on their second full-length album released on Epitaph are to be announced. Also in June the band has announced a string of east coast tour dates listed below.
The World is a Beautiful Place create their dense textured sound with multi-layered and heavily effected guitars as well as synthesizer, cello, and trumpet. TWIABP has released one full length album, Whenever, If Ever, in 2013 on Topshelf Records. It was lauded as “revolutionary” byPitchfork. The band’s lineup is ever-changing and currently consists ofDavid Bello – vocals, Josh Cyr – bass, Derrick Shanholtzer-Dvorak – guitar & vocals, Steven Buttery – drums, Chris Teti – guitar & trumpet,Greg Horbal – guitar & vocals, Katie Shanholtzer-Dvorak – keyboards, vocals, and Tyler Bussey – guitar, vocals.
