Acoustic project VIVAK showcases their meticulous and sincere folk songwriting on new entertaining EP

1 min read

Basque Country, Spain based VIVAK is a new musical project based on acoustic bases, wrapped in an instrumental, folk packaging that combines traditional music with the band’s own take and unique sound that finds this release fresh and moving listen.

“Last summer we wrote four songs and we self-produced our first EP in a local home-studio with Aimar Ibarzabal @aimarmetal (Ilun Produkzioak).” – comments the band. “Our music is instrumental, with post rock influence and ambient.”

VIVAK comes off much more magical and reflective, and is nothing short of a strikingly effective offering, sounding more like an incantation than a usual collection of songs.
