“All Our Flowers Will Rot” – Polish noisy post hardcore experimentalists MELISA return with a fine follow-up to their 2015 debut

1 min read

Wow, loads of superb records have already been released in 2017. 1,5 year after our initial presentation and interview here on IDIOTEQ, Warsaw noisy experimental post hardcore rockers MELISA return with a new addition to that collecton, an affecting record “Wszystkie nasze kwiaty będą gnić” (“All Our Flowers Will Rot”), available for streaming below. Guided by a more mature, yet still uncompromising and experimental sound, the album is the noise rock music we need nowadays, a quality collection of fuzz-wrapped postcards from the past spiced up with forward-thinking twists, distinguishing it as one of the most remarkable noise rock / 90s post hardcore releases so far this year. Great listen.
