Angelskin quits
A few weeks ago, our vocalist Pieter his life turned around with quite a shock. He experienced a constant noise that would not go away. Shortly after, he was diagnosed with tinnitus. This noise has such an severe impact that his personal and professional life are bearing the consequences of it. To prevent damaging his hearing any further, he has decided to stop performing with us.
This left us with the question of who could replace him. Is it possible to replace the person who represents the band to the outer world, who’s signature tone is his physical voice and not metal strings through modded amps? A person who represents us as who we are and what we stand for?
We believe not.
After 7 years blasting your brains out, we found that the best decision is to end the chapter of Angelskin. We had such an amazing time rockin’ out, doing mini-tours, partying, dressing up as orange bunny’s, glamrockers and dirty old strippers, but most of all, having incredibly loads of laughs.Thank you for supporting us in anyway possible. Without you we could not have done the stuff we did over the last years.
There are currently no plans for a final show. If so, you’ll be the first to know.
But as I have said, this is the end of a chapter, not of the book. The motivation is high and creativity is out of this world. A new project is being set up as we speak. And yes, we are looking for a vocalist. Interested? Give us a call.
