“Anxiety Prevails” – Italian metal experimentalists VISCERA premiere new track; new record our soon on WOOAAARGH, Unquiet Records & Drown Within Records

1 min read

Experimental psych metallers VISCERA/// are just one month away from the premiere of their third record titled ‘ 3 | Release Yourself Through Desperate Rituals ‘, full of nihilistic themes and psychedelic, multi-faceted sonic experiments that go way beyond strict genre boundaries and make some new trails. The record is surely meant to be taken as a whole and it’s a great listen all the way through, but it doesn’t stop ut to unveil just a part of it for your listening pleasure. We have teamed up with German label WOOAAARGH to give you “Anxiety Prevails”, a majestic, violent, and visceral teaser of what’s to come, almost everything a forward-thinking metal album should be. Listen and leave your thoughts in the comments section below.

VISCERA///‘s new record “3 | Release Yourself Through Desperate Rituals” will hit the streest on May 5th via WOOAAARGH, Unquiet Records & Drown Within Records.

The band offered the following about the track:

“Anxiety Prevails” is definitely a declaration of intent for the band.

For that reason it couldn’t be anything but the last track inside the final album of our trilogy of perception. Music and lyrics are so heartfelt and genuine to me that it was just meant to be there.

I wanted Kevin to put some vocals into it because i knew he was the right man for that, and for sure we share the same vision of music and life itself.

Ultimately, I don’t know if this is the best thing we ever recorded, but at least “Anxiety Prevails” is the best way somebody could get to deeply understand our work so far.
