Well, there’.s not too much of hard rock and stoner rock/metal in the pages of IDIOTEQ, but I’m definitely willing to change that, as I’m pretty sure you’re all, at least in some part, fans of groovy, muddy vibes in the vein of MASTODON, BLACK TUSK and HIGH ON FIRE. Koolskamp, Belgium’s quartet LOST BARON play a mix from stoner, metal and heavy rock’n’roll, serving potent amounts of energy, infectious melodies, and paying tasteful tributes to rock classics and post hardcore hooks. ‘Kelder” contrasts a groove-laden riffage with accessible melodies and a varied instrumental work. Great job, buddies!
