BEYOND TERROR BEYOND GRACE

First, I would like to thank you guys for taking the time to answer these questions and congratulations on the recent release of your third full-length- Nadir! I’ve been enjoying this release a lot and it has been getting regular spins on my stereo. It is such a large departure from previous releases though, how has the reaction both in general and from fans of your previous work been so far?

Of the reviews I’ve seen so far pretty much all of them have been really, really positive. We were pretty happy with the album listening back to it after it was mastered but you never know how it’ll be received until it’s out there, so it’s been great to see the album get such a good response. As far as what the reaction has been from people who are familiar with our old stuff, there’s always going to be some people who aren’t that thrilled about what we’re doing now but you’re never going to please everyone, all the time. We’ve got a lot of feedback from people who were a bit ambivalent about us before, as well as people who flat-out didn’t like us, who are really into this album so you take the good with the bad really. We make music for ourselves at the end of the day, not to satisfy any particular group of people.
