Produced by Grammy award-winning songwriter and producer Joe Henry, Tooth & Nail is the singer/songwriter’s tenth album, and his first in five years.
Inspired by a fan’s tweet referring to Bragg as “The Sherpa of Heartbreak,” the album was written with an eye towards the personal rather than the political.
Bragg also pins Tooth & Nail as the follow-up “that I never made” to his monumental collaboration with Wilco, titled Mermaid Avenue.
The album was recorded in a mere five days, and features musicians who have worked with Bon Iver, Regina Spektor, and Lana del Ray.
The first single “Handyman Blues” is available as a free download.
Bragg will be embarking on a North American tour beginning at SXSW, with six Canadian dates planned. Click HERE for all dates.
