BLACK SABBATH rumoured to have announced new drummer

1 min read

A source has told MetalTalk.net that the three remaining original members of BLACK SABBATH have hired Tommy Clufetos as the replacement for the recently departed Bill Ward.

Clufetos has played drums in singer Ozzy Osbourne’s solo band. The source also claimed that manager Sharon Osbourne has effectively “fired” Ward, who announced last week that he wasn’t going to participate in the recording sessions or tour plans due to his unhappiness with the contract he was offered.

The three remaining original members of Black Sabbath have been busy working on a new album, which will be their first to feature original material since 1995’s “Forbidden” and their first with Ozzy on vocals since 1978’s “Never Say Die!”.
