Brighton emo punk rockers MURDERHOUSE release 2nd EP ‘Self-Doubt’

1 min read

Brighton emo punk band MURDERHOUSE have recently released their new EP, Self-Doubt, on Hanger Records. These guys have already sold out of tapes and are going on tour next month (with more tapes :) – see the dates below). Taking influence from JAWBREAKER, THE FRONT BOTTOMS, FUGAZI and the like the EP is full of catchy melodies drenched in self-deprecation and anxiety ridden anger. Listen below and watch their new video for the song “BURYMEbeneathGRUBBS”!

The band commented:

“So ‘Self-Doubt’ is a sort of sequel to our first EP ‘Self Help’. It’s more of the Empire Strikes Back sequel, where everything gets worse before it gets better. When we finished recording and started getting the mixes back, we noticed a consistency of certain themes running through the EP. It’s not like we wrote a concept record, it’s just more of a diary of all the dumb things I had got up to in the first 6 months of 2016.”
