BRUTUS are back with great new single “Dust”! Tour dates coming up!

June 28, 2022
1 min read

It’s been a while, but we’re stoked to finally be able to share the new music from Belgian experimental, post metal tinged trio BRUTUS! The band just released their new single called “Dust” and to celebrate, the band will be hitting the UK in November and the awesome Ancienne Belgique in Brussels in February with a lot of new music.

Comments the band: “DUST was born out of the frustration of having friends with demands and expectations that were way too high.”

“It’s a song about being at breaking point; pissed off about everything and everyone. DUST is honest, direct and unfiltered. It’s a very special and personal song for us, which is why we wanted this to be the first new song for you to hear.”

Catch the band live at the following dates:

Nov 16: Bristol, The Fleece
Nov 17: Manchester, Rebellion
Nov 18: Glasgow, Audio
Nov 19: Leeds, Lending Room
Nov 21: Brighton, Patterns
Nov 22: London, The Garage

Feb 03: Brussels, Ancienne Belgique

“Dust” lyrics:

I’ll never change
And you’re still the same
Always searching for more
Always digging to the core
I am so tired
Of everyone that’s breathing down my neck

Maybe you shouldn’t be like that

There is so little room
To take a step aside
All I wanna do
Is pretend that we’re alike

Searching for flaws
Never good enough
Stop keeping this alive
But for now please be quiet for a sec

Eeeh/Eeh
Aah/Aah

I’ll never change
And you’re still exactly the same
Always searching for more
Always digging to the core
I am so tired
Of everyone that’s breathing down my neck

Maybe you shouldn’t be like that

What are you gonna do
When everything is done
To understand it more
Please be silent for just once

There is so little room
To understand my thoughts
What are you gonna do
Keep pretending that you’re God

Ready
Are you ready
Why are you running
I am standing over here
