Cagliari/Berlin based d-beat hardcore act BUILT ON ABUSE kick off with new swingin’ single “All My Ghosts”

Focused on the toughness of managing modern life, builded on layers of social distancing, ego, and wrong social values, BUILT ON ABUSE bring in a solid new proposal for fans of striking, d-beat infused hardcore, laced with proper message. Their debut dingle “All My Ghosts” tackles with the loss of friends in terms of regrets, and gives you a good example of what to expect from the full release, to be uneiled later in 2020. “All my ghosts” and all the other songs were self produced by B.O.A. at “Sonic Tower Records”, the singer owned studio. All tracks were made recording drums, bass and vocals in Cagliari. Guitars were recorded in Berlin by Massimo Capobianco at KVU, then everything was mixed and mastered at “Sonic Tower Records” by Giampy and B.O.A.

Our local scene is always vital and productive.

There are so many projects that arise and grow up everyday, that’s hard to mention without missing someone. Everyone of us is a member or ex member of Hardcore Punk and Rock ‘n’ Roll bands.

Everyone is hardly struggling against these hard times but we think that all this shit will produce thousand of great and cool stuff in the next future.

Mirko and Roberto are also involved in the Strikedown Collective, for the organization of Strikedown Festival, an event originally created by our friend and brother Carlo Articolo (Scornthroats, Strikedown Records, Ghostown Booking), that unfortunately passed away in 2018. We decided to take over and carry on with this festival to honour his memoryu and, year after year, to continue supporting our local scene and keep it alive.
