CASPIAN European Summer dates

2 mins read

This August CASPIAN (interviewed for IDIOTEQ in late 2015) will be heading back to Europe for 5 festival appearances and some select headline dates. They issued the following statement: “Our main priority was to hit spots we didn’t make it to last November, such as Spain, Portugal, Sweden, Denmark and Norway. As you can see below, we are making good on our promise to make it back out to you. Expect a well rested, fully energized live experience from us this August and September out there. Tickets for our headline shows go on sale this Friday at 12PM CET.”

The band further commented:

Philip here, coming to you from a perfectly warm, clear blue mid-May day here in Beverly on Massachusetts’ North Shore. It is a wonder outside right now. While the trees slowly turn green and the winter coats head to the back of the closet, we are slowly picking up the pieces of what has truly been the busiest 6 months of our entire career as a band. From North America to Europe to China to Japan then back to America, it’s been nothing short of full speed ahead since we released Dust and Disquiet last September. To try and give words to the experience thus far would undermine the ultimate “event” of it all in a way, so we will just say thank you for coming out to the shows, sharing a smile, buying a record, saying hello, or what have you. We met so many radiant, new faces out there and also had a chance to re-connect with friends and fans we’ve made going back to 2006 when we decided to hit the road and never look back. We made it out from this chapter in one piece and have earned some quality downtime for a couple months this summer, for certain. It’s been a wild season.

To our fans in North America – before the trees lose the leaves they’re pushing out now, it’s safe to say that you’ll probably be seeing us again this year, this time with a much longer set. Perhaps even some new music to show you… But time will tell, we are still hatching more plans. We wish you the happiest possible summer (or winter, if you’re down below) and much warmth.

All the best,

PS – We have to give a special shoutout to the fine gentlemen in Underoath and their fans for taking us out last March / April on what was the single biggest tour we have EVER been a part of to date. We will never, ever forget that run of shows and we learned so much about everything there is to learn from a tour of that magnitude. Much respect ~
