Revolver Magazine has exclusively premiered the closing track to End, the impending 12” EP from Lansdale, Pennsylvania-based hardcore outfit, CDC, today unloading “Temple” as Get This Right Records posts preorders for the release. While End’s five, groove-heavy, hardened tales all hold down a brutal, urban edge, the final track on the album unleashes the most jacked-up, outspoken vocal torrent and most dominating riff buildups of the entire record.
End will see release in the US on February 17th via Get This Right Records — partially owned by members of CDC — and February 20th in Europe through Beatdown Hardwear, with 308 copies on yellow/orange wax, 411 copies on burgundy/purple, and 320 copies on black wax with a screen-printed B-side exclusively for preorder customers. Stateside preorders can be placed HERE and for Europe HERE, and all digital preorders through BandCamp HERE.
With a slick, streetwise, tension-fueled and beatdown-fueled delivery, End is the first release from Philly-area’s international touring beast, CDC, in over five years, recorded with Vince Ratti at Skylight Studio (Balance And Composure, Title Fight, Turmoil) and mastered by Will Yip at Studio 4 (Cop Problem, Lauren Hill, Blacklisted), and bearing cover art created by Fist City. Following their most recent European tour in November and December, and subsequent Southeastern US mini-tour with labelmates Society Sucker,CDC will take the tunes out to more American fans over the coming months, including a tour of Puerto Rico in April in conjunction with the band’s confirmed performance at Southeast Beast Fest in Jacksonville, Florida alongside Life Of Agony, Biohazard, Cro-Mags, Earth Crisis, Rotting Out, King Nine and more. Stand by for additional dates to be added.
