The band released their new sick music video for the track “Schema” in late October. Beware the hairy baby, head over here to ore-order the full album, and catch them live on tour – CIRCA‘s Fall dates are losted below.

CIRCA SURVIVE

Here’s a nice interpretation of the video, issued by one of the YouTube users:

If I had to take a guess, I’d say it’s a metaphor of him “fighting his demons.” Anthony and his wife, Meredith, had three miscarriages before their son, James, was born. And there are three kids in the video (the one he’s fighting and two standing ringside). I think the one he’s fighting represents that last miscarriage they had that sent him into a fucked up mental state. Halfway through the recording of Blue Sky Noise, Anthony checked himself into a mental hospital after he found out about their last miscarriage (Spirit of the Stairwell is about that time in his life). So overall, I think it’s a representation of him dealing with that loss and fighting through it.
