1 min read

Inspired by the film ‘A Clockwork Orange’,  ‘Korova’ focuses on the human psyche, with eerie falsetto vocals revealing the true angst of the song orchestrated with violins and clarinets adding to a chilling ambience. The new single from ambient post rockers CLANNS is available for purchase on all major online stores and available on all the main streaming sites. You can check out the video directed by Charlie Doherty below.

clanns trademark sound is that of anguished ethereal anthems. Their diverse sound features guitars drenched in reverb & delay aligned with melodic bow arrangements which combine to form moments which have explosive endings. They spent several months in Attica Studios amongst the beautiful and tranquil hills of Donegal recording their latest 5 track EP ‘Make Me A Child’ which saw its premiere at this years Distorted Perspectives Festival where the band headlined the closing night of the festival to a sold out audience. Their ambition is to create a sound of pure minimalist aesthetic and this trait has allowed them the freedom to explore varying arrangements both on record and on a live stage.
