Qliphoth, a word rooted in the Hermetic Qabalah, represents a dark, even demonic realm within a philosophy that embraces mysticism and the occult. Much like the idealogy Gliphoth embodies, Cloud Rat’s newest work strays toward the left hand path. As stated by the band, “technically and sonically, I think we just wanted to create something powerful and relevant, that builds on past works while expanding into new territory […] Headspace though? Awful hell. Blood, sweat, and tears, literally. The end goal is really just for cathartic therapy, as it’s hard to express yourself in public. You can’t beat up your boss, you can’t stop the clock, etc. So we need this outlet to survive at this point.”

“As anyone else who’s been lucky enough to catch this now-quartet live already knows, I was right. Cloud Rat is one of those rare bands whose music connects instantly, painfully—you feel the words, the the riffs, and the all-consuming cacophony deep within the marrow of your bones, vibrating out into a hostile world.”
–  NOISEY – BAND INTERVIEW

2000 copies of the LP are being pressed and each include an 11×17″ insert and download code. The record can be purchased in the US from Halo of Flies and IFB Records, L’oeil Du Tigre in Canada, and in Europe from Moment of Collapse, React With Protect, and 7 Degrees Records. 300 tapes will be released by Dead Tank Records with alternative artwork.
