ABSOLUTIST move forth once again out of Scotland with three new tracks traversing the realms of an epic dark hardcore LP into seven inches of vinyl. The powering three piece make their return using the absolute elements of emotive dark sound that is carried by driving d-beat and a neo-crustal sound.
Having been quiet for the past couple of years since they unleashed their previous split 12″ with Link from Belgium and a 7″ with Abest out of Germany, Absolutist come storming back with uttmost power that ebbs and flows between atmospheric dooming crust ala Fall Of Efrara, Downfall of Gaia but constantly unleashing driving d-beat that that destroys that atmosphere this Scottish three piece had amazingly put together.
Engulfed beautiful artwork by Denise of Dogs And Vultures Records and Mastered by Enormous Door mastering. This release see’s Absolutist rise once again to prominence in the dark hardcore world of crust. ‘Traverse’ is out now on Distro-y Records in Europe and Broken Limbs Records in North America.
