Death doom heavyweights HOLY DEATH premiere new grim single “Nailbat”

1 min read

Shortly after Holy Death, a death doom band from Long Beach, released their latest album “Moral Terror,” their guitarist/vocalist, Torie John, was diagnosed with cancer. Knowing that John would soon undergo extensive surgery, the band’s new lineup made the decision to re-record the songs they had been practicing for their upcoming live shows.

On November 5th, 2022, Holy Death spent the day at Raul “Riff” Cuellar’s studio, Riff Audio, located in Burbank, California, to record the songs live. The resulting album, titled “Neck Wound Session,” will be released on June 16th, 2023, and will be available for streaming as well as on cassette tape.

Today, the band gives you the first taste off of the album, the thick riffed, heavy as hell single “Nailbat”.
