DIMWIND’s “Slow Wave Violence” floats effortlessly over adjacent genres to create their unique take on post metal

August 25, 2021
1 min read

DIMWIND‘s vision for their debut album Slow Wave Violence is to let the music float effortlessly over adjacent genres to create an intriguing and unique soundscape of mournful melancholy and high energy. The album depicts a suggestive narrative that is intended to move the listener through relish and despair.

Jonas and Andreas have been playing together in different constellations since the late 90’s. So it was on a sound foundation they established Dimwind as a duo in 2019, in order to gain creative freedom without consideration to other members, but also with a venturous intent of having a genre defying approach and not be so easily branded. With such a long-term relationship and experience the interwork and writing process is uninterrupted by friction and driven by a pure passion for making heavy emotive music and pioneering new brushwood.

Trepanation Recordings will be releasing this stunning album on limited edition CD and cassette on 17th September and you can pre-order here.
