OHHMS are back with a brand new album โRotโ, out March 2023. โEaten Aliveโ is the second offering from the album and is one of their best songs to date.
Lyrically, โEaten Aliveโ was inspired by our love of horror films, this time around specifically Tobe Hooperโs follow up to Texas Chainsaw Massacre from 1976 which, coincidentally, as luck would have it is also entitled โEaten Aliveโ.
Musically, we took our passion for 90s, raw, independent and alternative punk rock and we thrashed it out in the practice room but weโre a sludgy stoner rock band at heart and relished mixing these two styles together, this is the result. – Paul/OHHMS
