“Eaten Alive” – sludgy, stoner rock metallers OHHMS premiere new single

1 min read

OHHMS are back with a brand new album ‘Rot’, out March 2023. ‘Eaten Alive’ is the second offering from the album and is one of their best songs to date.

Lyrically, ‘Eaten Alive’ was inspired by our love of horror films, this time around specifically Tobe Hooper’s follow up to Texas Chainsaw Massacre from 1976 which, coincidentally, as luck would have it is also entitled ‘Eaten Alive’.

Musically, we took our passion for 90s, raw, independent and alternative punk rock and we thrashed it out in the practice room but we’re a sludgy stoner rock band at heart and relished mixing these two styles together, this is the result. – Paul/OHHMS

More news about their new album will be revealed later this year.
