Lyrics:

Long day
No grief
Just glad that I know how to make ends meet

Degrading
So close
To reject the belief I can make it on my own

So brash
Presuming
To expect everyone to excel at the same thing

You’re taken aback
Not everyone is driven by the same four letters

Start working on what’s yours
No one else can give you what you crave the most
Start ditching what’s right
If it works out, great, if it doesn’t, fine

A while ago I talked to a man
And he said: hey boy, I like your work but you need to understand
There’s no value in what you do
Self-expression isn’t something to be sold

Start working on what’s yours
No one else can give you what you want the most
Start ditching what’s right
If it works out, great, if it doesn’t, fine
