ENUMCLAW unleashes “These Are Some B-Sides” EP and commemorates “Save the Baby” anniversary with a documentary

Tacoma-based indie rockers Enumclaw are at it again. Today, they unveil their latest EPThese Are Some B-Sides” through Luminelle Recordings, capturing listeners with their unique blend of hazy indie rock influenced by the rich musical tapestry of the Pacific Northwest.

SPIN aptly summarizes the band’s prowess: “Enumclaw knows how to write a chorus that stands out as boldly as a Gallagher brother’s personality.” With reviews from heavy-hitting publications like Pitchfork, Spin, and NME for their debut LP “Save The Baby”, Enumclaw’s rapid ascent in alt indie rock is unquestionable.

Produced and engineered by the accomplished Chaz Bear (Toro y Moi), this three-track EP showcases the band’s dexterity in melding distinct sonic textures.

Particularly notable is the track “Fuck Love, I Just Bought a New Truck“, which opens with a gripping riff before plunging into a rich shoegaze chorus. Aramis Johnson, the band’s lead singer, remarks on the track: “I got my heart broke so I went to the store, bought an ice-cold sixer, got in my brand new truck, and wrote a song about it.”

Apart from the EP, fans are in for a visual treat as Enumclaw presents a riveting tour documentary directed by Ian Ostrowski, celebrating the one-year anniversary of “Save The Baby“.
