EVERGREEN TERRACE loses vocalist and co-founder Andrew Carey; cancels European dates

1 min read

After facing some serious health trouble, canceling their US and European treks, Florida metalcore act EVERGREEN TERRACE have parted ways with their original vocalist and co-founder Andrew Carey. He simply posted:

“I quit Evergreen Terrace. As Danny Glover would often say in the hit movies from the 90’s, Lethal Weapon 1, 2, and 3, ‘I’m getting too old for this shit.’ Thanks to everyone who supported us throughout the years.”

The band issued the following statements:

As many of you know, Andrew hasn’t been performing with ET for quite a while in order to focus on a career in nursing. Today he is officially leaving the band after 15 years of killing it. Wish him well!

“Unfortunately Evergreen Terrace can`t make it over to Europe this summer, because of serious health problems of two members. Due to that all shows have to be cancelled. The band wants to let you know that they are very sorry about that.

We wish them a quick recovery!”

Formed in 1999, EVERGREEN TERRACE have released 6 albums on 4 different labels: Indianola Records, Eulogy Recordings, Metal Blade Records and their latest LP “Dead Horses” on Rise Records.
