Italy’s alternative metal / melodic metalcore band CRUSH! have teamed up with IDIOTEQ to show you their brand new lyric video for the song “Venus, Beautiful Illusion” lyric video. The single is taken from their debut album “Of Beauty [&] Decadence”.

When we writed this record we decided to write just one ballad to make the album sounds perfect to us. We love this song and it means a lot to us.

Crush! was founded during the summer of 2009 in Mazara Del Vallo (TP), Italy by drummer Davide Calafato, who started the band along with bassist Francesco Ingargiola, guitarist Nicola Burzotta and female singer Anna Truglio. After they played some local shows the band released their first self-produced 5 tracks EP called “Trying To Change Yourself Is Just Another Way To Waste Your Time” through the myspace band page.
Several months later Vito Del Forte took his role in the band as guitarist and Pietro Basso joined them in the role of Key Player. One year later, after the relasing of the band’s second EP “Mistake Doesn’t Exist” containing the songs “Where Is My Place?” and “This Time” singer Anna Truglio left the band and she got replaced with a new female vocalist, Federica Ditta, and recorded the first self produced full length album called “Don’t Be Afraid Of Mistakes, Mistake Doesn’t Exist” and released the songs “Until The End”, “Climbing” and a remix of the song “Change Yourself”. They played some shows in Italy with Becoming The Archetype (USA), and with other Italian bands like The Avalanche Diaries, Skylong and more.
Starting with 2012 Federica Ditta and Francesco Ingargiola decided to break up with the band due to musical differences and so Adriano “Adam” Clemense joined the band as the frontman and unclean vocalist, Pietro Basso started his part as Key Player and Clean Vocals and they got their friend Marco Curia as the new bass player. During the spring of 2012 they started recording their debut album “Of Beauty [&] Decadence” with producer Pietro Ventimiglia (Shy Kidx) and released it digitally on July 17th on iTunes, AmazonMP3, Zune and on main digital stores and physically through the band merchstore. The band released til now 3 songs “Chapter I: Of Beauty And Decadence” (available on BlankTV), “Steel Sun” and “Chapter II: Omen, Invasion, Wrecking” and his getting ready to release their official video for the song “Blind Before The Sunset” directed by Claudio Stanghellini (Polar Bear Club, Four Year Strong, Whales’ Island).
The band is also ready to start touring over Europe, and they’re now organizing their first tour without any agency. Also the band is still unsigned and they’re looking for a label!
