This Is Fubar Productions conducted an interview with Bridge Nine Records‘ GOODTIME BOYS.
Goodtime Boys recently signed to Bridge Nine Records. How did this come about?
It was pretty cool actually we just got an email from Seth at the label out of the blue and saying he was interested in the band. It sort of progressed from there really. We came to an agreement on a signing and that’s pretty much it.Bridge Nine is known as a ‘Hardcore’ label having such bands as Cruel Hand and Terror on their roster. How do you feel about being associated with these heavier bands? How do you think Bridge Nine fans will react to you?
The core of Bridge Nine bands are heavy but they do also have bands like Lemuria, Crime In Stereo and NFG on their roster. These bands have been pretty successful during their time on the label so in that respect we don’t feel to much like we don’t fit in.We all love heavier music and are fans of classic and current Bridge Nine hardcore so being associated with these bands and such a well established and respected label is awesome. I think hardcore Bridge Nine fans might not be so instantly drawn to our music, but hopefully over time we can build a reputation on the label like bands I mentioned earlier have.
