Our Berlin hardcore buds from SEEK NOTHING just returned from their trip to Poland and are just 2 weeks away from a short string of live dates in Geramany and Czech Republic later this month. To celebrate, we have teamed up with them to give you their newest video for the track “COMA”, featuring loads of picturesque and brutal scenes from animals hunting and fighting. The song comes from their 2017 EP “M.A.F.”, available now on Mark My Words Records. The band commented on the track and video:
COMA is the second track from our sophomore EP, M.A.F., which we released to very little fanfare via Mark My Words Records [see the label interview HERE] in late 2017. We’re fairly allergic to performance videos but because our new drummer, “Sick” Nick, is good with that multimedia jazz we figured why not steal some clips from YouTube and make a sick clip involving wild animals visciously hunting and killing each other.
The song itself is about how like we’re imprisoned in our own petty reactions to things that clearly do not matter from each hour to next and how humanity is trapped in a constant frivolous rigmarole, instead of concentrating on much more important things. Like Zelda.
Asked about their plans for 2018, they stated:
2018 will be our fourth year as a band so we will pretty much doing the same thing as usual, crushing faces and not living up to our potential in the slightest. We’re hoping to not even have any original members by 2020.
But seriously, we have a ton of shows coming up (four) and hope to write and record our debut album before the summer. I’d also like for us to make two more videos for the other tracks on the EP, so will potentially be looking for people to do it for free and with zero reward.
Other than that we will continue to be completely ignored by the majority of the hardcore scene and look forward to seeing people cross their arms at a local squat soon!
