Grindcore act APE UNIT teasing their new record

1 min read

Cuneo, Italy’s APE UNIT have debuted a new brief grindcore frenzy called “Go Kurt Cobain”, giving you a short sneak peak into the upcoming full length. Unutterably brutal, passionate and insanely driven, the track promises a one hell of a record. Check it out below and stay tuned for more.

Ape Unit project started back in late 2008 with the idea to create a mix of grinding powerviolence with a noisy impact in a personal crazy sound.

Influenced by well known grindcore and powerviolence acts – such as Napalm Death, Terrorizer and Charles Bronson, Infest – the band contaminates the genre with noise riffs inspired by bands like The Jesus Lizard and Daughters.

Turd” is Ape Unit’s new record (out in vinyl 10″ and digital download), and the first one recorded with the current line up. It will be released in September 2015 by Uterus Productions, Here And Now Records, Zas Autoproduzioni, Distrozione, Don Carlos Productions, Tadca Records and Vollmer Industries.

The band played live in Europe sharing the stage with acts as Napalm Death, Ratos De Porao, Cryptopsy, Aborted, Cripple Bastards, ACXDC, Fuck The Facts, Doomsday Student, Maruta, Corrupt Moral Altar, Anaal Nathrakh, Sick/Tired, Tools of The Trade, Horsebastard, Looking For An Answer and many more and also perform at Obscene Extreme 2013.
