H2O have announced that their 1997 classic second album “Thicker Than Water”, which has been out of print for some time, will be reissued next month (November 20th) on their current label Bridge Nine Records.

The label is repressing the vinyl with it’s original track listing, but also promising “embossed cover art” and “premium colour variants” for vinyl collectors.

Here’s the full announcement:

Since their formation in 1995, H2O has released five full-length albums (and one tribute album) and toured every nook and cranny on planet Earth. Their second album, Thicker Than Water, was originally released in 1997 on Epitaph Records and was highly acclaimed; resonating with classic elements of East Coast hardcore and West Coast melody. A collection of sincere, in-your-face songs about personal responsibility, positivity and loyalty are highlighted in songs like “Wake Up,” “Everready” and the title track. Bridge Nine Records is excited to re-press this essential album that has been out of print for years. Thicker Than Water is a must-have collector’s item for hardcore fans on either coast and everywhere in between.

The band will also be playing Thicker Than Water in its entirety on December 27th at Music Hall of Williamsburg – get tickets here!
