After putting out their new album “Kill The Buzz” in late March, Austin’s hardcore outfit DRIP-FED couldn’t wait to hit the stages and perform their new set live in front of an audience. But unfortunately the damn virus hasn’t made that possible (yet). So the band used their free time to hit the studio again and perform and record a live session. And now we can proudly present.
Drip-Fed will actually be hitting the stage for their first live show in 2021 on August 6th in Austin, Texas, along with Madball and other bands on the bill.
Returning from the band’s first European tour and with Colton Siegmund as the new drummer in their team, Drip-Fed set up a studio in their own place exactly one year ago and recorded their new album with guitarist Chris Skiles as the main producer. To give some final magic touches to the sound, they had Kill The Buzz mixed by Beau Burchell (Saosin, The Bled, Moose Blood) and mastered by Alan Douches (Converge, Touché Amoré, Torche).
Kill The Buzz has been released March 26th, through I.Corrupt.Records in Europe and Head2Wall Records in the US. Vinyl and CD are available from both labels.
