Heavy metallized rockers TWENTY MILLION PEOPLE share new video for “New Rome”

1 min read

Canadian trio Twenty Million People have recently unleashed their post hardcore infused, sludgy metal sound with the release of their EP “New Rome” and just a couple of days ago they have revealed the official video for its title track. You can watch it right here.

Comprised of singer/guitarist Bah Sarp, drummer Batu Bekmen, and bassist/vocalist Brian Vincer, the band’s autobiographical stories explore the circumstances that led to their relocation from Istanbul to Canada.

The EP, which combines classic heavy metal with modern metal and indie music influences, was released by the band’s label Piss & Vinegar International in October 2022.

The title track, “New Rome,” delves into the sobering reality of exploring one’s roots and examining the history outside of official storytelling. Laden with lyrical and instrumental references, including Lorca’s “Dawn,” the track is the centerpiece of the EP’s first half.
