HOLLOW EARTH streaming “Parting Remains” EP

1 min read

Teased a couple of days ago, the new EP from HOLLOW EARTH was recorded by Tad Doyle, frontman of grunge heroes Tad, and mixed and mastered by Greg Thomas of MISERY SIGNALS. Already renowned for its apocalyptic hardcore, the Detroit-area band, featuring two ex-members of SHAI HULUDreaches a new level on Parting Remains, using melodic guitars and vocals to achieve a new kind of power. Parting Remains comes out this Friday, January 29th, on Good Fight Music, along with Good Fight’s vinyl release of the band’s most recent full-length, Silent Graves. Pre-order both, here.

“The crushing new EP from Hollow Earth… Heavier than a steamroller, at once hideously ugly and gloriously melodic.”
–MetalSucks

“The midwesterners never lacked the ability to break necks and start pits, but there was something around the edges that showed a real thirst for something different, with flashes of doom and melody… Hollow Earth have extended their sound far beyond past releases, into much fuller, more nuanced territory. Recorded by legend Tad Doyle, the band has become a plodding, melodic beast…”
