Straight from Oklahoma, the Tulsa-based noise-rock duo Honduh Daze drop their new single, “DATA PLAN” – an explosive, philosophical track that captures the heart of soul within the blaring noise.
Their unapologetic single is an unstoppable force that moves with methodical intention. Each sound is deliberate, assembled with purpose, and packed with fuck-you energy. Its unbridled strength is built with a mountain of distortion and driven by a big-beat engine that will chew you up and spit you out.
The track begins with madness and ends in pure emotions – a deliberate sonic motif that reflects the band’s inherent ambivalence.
Its aggression emerges through the collision of Guitarist / Vocalist Marie McIntosh’s high-octane, unforgettable riff and Jason Basker’s industrial-hip hop-inflected drumming. Inspired by punk spirit, they construct a cacophonous wall of sound, channeling a healthy dose of meaningful chaos.
Beyond the noise, “Data Plan” is about hope. Establishing a conversation to unfuck the internet age with pure, authentic grit, the lyrics are sharp and unfiltered. McIntosh acknowledges that connection inspires change, yelling, “My whole life’s been changed by people I couldn’t name / all revolutions exist within us all / in space time / and in wartime / and in peace.”
“Data plan” is more than a punk song; it is a genuine purge – the type that is fueled by frustration and driven by a search for a deeper sense of unity and truth. It is a proclamation to interpersonal relationships, to life, and to the self. Packaging the noise into direct-action philosophy, the duo undermines banality and challenges the confusion of our modern world. Baker further explains the track’s purpose, stating, “Data Plan is the artist’s earnest attempt at crafting a generation-defining song by using better data to tell better stories. The song is a manifesto that speaks directly to the listener, declaring life and art as necessary actions worthy of not dying for.”

Although Honduh Daze shapes their world with layers of refined tones, their true artistry comes from their intentions. Armed with instrumental weapons, they declare that their commitment to the craft is a path towards freedom rather than validation.
“Data Plan” is only the beginning, as the track will appear on their upcoming EP, SACRED COMMERCE (out September 23rd, 2026).
As Honduh Daze begins to share their world without mincing words, they embrace the true spirit of punk by redefining their scene with their organic sound, doing shit their own way, and keeping it real.
