Miami noise rock/alt metal powerhouse WRONG (members of TORCHE, ex-Capsule, ex-Kylesa) are streaming a new tune called Culminate, coming from their new record Feel Great, a sonic hammer that will make you feel the exact opposite of great. Slated for an April 13 release via Relapse Records, the album will feature 11 tracks and is detailed via the official press release below.
A moody and eclectic record, albeit the moods are pissed and the eclecticism is different levels of pissed. On Feel Great, WRONG has mastered the arts of bludgeoning groove, riff, tone, and grit, creating eleven songs that are faster, heavier, angrier yet also more melodic than their breakout debut. The album was self-produced by the band and recorded at various studios around Miami with mixing handled by guitarist Ryan Haft and artwork by Rick Smith of TORCHE. WRONG is the exact type of rock band the world needs in 2018, uncompromising, aggressive and ready to tear the whole damn place to bits.

Toronto experimental, folk tinged indie rockers OH GERONIMO are streaming their new record “The Sled”.
The Sled traverses the peaks and valleys of companionship, ego, self-perception, and explores what happens when they collide. It was recorded in the spring at Chalet – a wonderful cottage-y studio just outside of Uxbridge, ON. The release of this record will mark a year since half of our band put down their torches — a year that demanded patience, persistence and resiliency. Often times the universe begs us to throw in the towel, but we’re fighters. We will never extinguish the fire, and The Sled solidifies that resolution.

California post-hardcore/sludge misfits HORSENECK – featuring within its ranks current and past members of Will Haven and Chelsea Wolfe – are pleased to unveil the vinyl edition of their critically-lauded Heavy Trip full-length, self-released via the band’s own Worried Bird Records early last year. Heavy Trip was captured by Lance Jackman (Will Haven) at The Dock, mixed by Scott Evans (Kowloon Walled City) at Antisleep Studios, and mastered by Carl Saff (Big Business, Helms Alee, Russian Circles) at Saff Mastering.

[ B O L T ] create waving sounds and crushing riffs. The trio presents a set in between the genres of drone, doom and metal. The album was written and recorded in the end of 2016. Mastering was done by Tobias Stieler (Kokomo).

Vancouver band ACTORS present new single “Face Meets Glass,” premiered via CVLT Nation. The song appears on ACTORS’ debut full-length album It Will Come to You, out March 9th on Artoffact Records. From Vancouver, Canada, ACTORS electrify with a modern take on post-punk. On debut full-length It Will Come to You, anthemic songs evoke the urgency of early-’80s U2 (Boy, October, War) as well as the driving, synth-drenched scores that emanated from that era’s movie screens. Much more than a “retro” act, this is music that stands all on its own, full of life and unforgettable hooks. Perhaps best described as a “post-post-punk” band, ACTORS belongs in the discussion alongside bands of today like The Soft Moon and Cold Cave who are pushing music forward via a deep knowledge of the past.
Bassist Jahmeel Russell is an ex-member of metallic noise-rockers KEN mode and their predecessors in the Winnipeg scene, Kittens.
ACTORS will be touring the US, Canada, and Europe, throughout 2018.
