INHERIT – “Long Forgotten Self”

1 min read

INHERIT have recently premiered their song “Long Forgotten Self”, taken from their new 7″EP “The Crushing Wheels of Samsara”.

“The Crushing Wheels of Samsara” 7″EP out in September 2012
Available from The Essence & Control Records

Here’s the official word from the band:

A year on from the release of our self titled EP, we entered the studio once again to record 4 new songs for our upcoming seven inch entitled “The Crushing Wheels of Samsara”. It’s a documentation of the past 12 months of our existence, as well showing the progress we’ve made since the previous record. Continuing to take inspiration from 80’s thrash, crossover and hardcore, we merge it all together in our own style to create a powerful vehicle for a positive yet critical message.

With the new EP we decided to team up with both The Essence and Control Records as we believe this is a better fit for Inherit on many levels. In terms of ethics, politics and a vision of hc, these labels represent what our band stands for and it will certainly show with our upcoming record.
“The Crushing Wheels of Samsara” is planned for release in September 2012 with selected shows in the UK and Sweden to follow. Please keep checking back for more detailed information.

Finally, we would like to thank Johan at Reflections Records and everyone who have helped us out so far. Your support means the world to Inherit. Keep in touch and hopefully we’ll see you all soon.

Without haste of fear
With all the peace in heart.
Inherit 2012.
