David “Gus” Griesinger of BackstageAxxess.com sat down for an interview with IRON MAIDEN drummer Nicko McBrain at the 2012 NAMM show, a massive music-products convention that took place January 19-22 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. You can watch the interview here.
Asked if there were plans for the next IRON MAIDEN album, McBrain replied:
We’ve talked about going out [on tour] later in the year. As far as a new record, we’re not sure yet. It’s a work in progress always. . . But we will be going out sometime later in the year.
IRON MAIDEN’s most recent studio album, “The Final Frontier”, came out in 2010.
