Liverpool’s ‘Outlaws of the Delta Blues’ IRON WITCH emerged from the muddy banks of the Mersey armed to the teeth with whiskey soaked, blues-ridden jams and a seriously pissed off attitude to become one of the most talked about acts on the burgeoning UK sludge/doom scene today. For ‘Hangover Suicide’ IRON WITCH have taken their sound to the next level, combining the feedback and vitriol of their debut E.P ‘Single Malt’ and downright filthy sludge vibes of follow up ‘Post Vegas Blues’ and injecting a healthy dose of hardcore influence to create what the band say is their strongest material to date.
Recorded and mastered by Bri Doom (Lazarus Blackstar/Doom) at 1in12 Studios, the unrelentingly heavy vibe of IRON WITCH has been captured perfectly, the tracks themselves honed to perfection through their equally legendary live performances which has seen them grace the stage with such luminaries as MUNICIPAL WASTE, TORCHE and CONAN to name but a few.
This release will be pressed onto 7” vinyl as a limited run of 350 copies worldwide, hand-numbered and come complete with an A3 poster designed by the band, download code and IRON WITCH sticker, there will also be some nice t-shirt bundles –
