Japan’s KRUELTY are back with new EP, Profane Usurpation

1 min read

Japan’s KRUELTY returns with their new EP, Profane Usurpation, dropping November 22 via Closed Casket Activities. Known for blending death metal and beatdown hardcore, the Tokyo trio delivers four crushing tracks on this release.

To mark the announcement, they’ve shared the title track and its accompanying video, featuring galloping riffs, blast beats, and brutal breakdowns.

Recorded by Taylor Young, the EP follows their 2023 album Untopia, with added crust punk and grindcore influences. KRUELTY’s North American tour with Undeath is ongoing, followed by a UK/EU headlining run with Celestial Sanctuary and Slimelord.
