Joey Cape and Hugo Mudie re-announce acoustic split record

1 min read

Cape and Mudie pretty much make a dream team in singer/songwriter punk: Joey Cape being the lead singer of skate-punk legends Lagwagon, of Bad Astronaut and guitarist of Me First And The Gimme Gimmes and Hugo Mudie as frontman of the Canadian folk band St. Catherines and founder of Pouzza Fest – these are artists basically meant to work together. In fact they did – the split 10-inch has been released on Flix Records in 2012 already. SBÄM Records are reissuing it in a new sleeves and new vinyl colours on June 4th this year!

Where Cape’s material is original from his acoustic solo project, Mudie presents covers of Bright Eyes and Lucinda Williams. The record will also be debuted on streaming platforms such as Spotify.
