Fluff Fest is back on the map with new special edition this year

1 min read

The Prague based collective Underdogs has announced their plans to relaunch the legendary European hardcore punk festival Fluff Fest this Summer in late July! The upcoming edition would feature European bands only! See the official word below.

“We are working on this year’s edition of Fluff Fest.” – comments the crew.  “We have been working on the festival since last fall, bearing the experience from last year and the whole covid situation in mind.”

“We are not preparing the festival in the usual way. Things are done differently this year to increase the chances for the festival to happen, but we want to maintain the spirit of the festival.”

“We are waiting how the situation develops and are trying to postpone final decisions to latest possible date. We want to be flexible for example with the festival capacity, etc. Within few days we would like to announce the first bands form this year’s line-up, which will be exclusively European this year. We are basically trying to do our best to make the festival happen, even under the covid circumstances.”

Same as last year, the festival crew will be launching a fundraising campaign to support refugees in the refugee camps in the Balkans.

“The money from the campaign will go directly to the organisations and volunteers helping in the area. Because we believe that, even though the pandemic might have negatively impacted our lives, this cannot be compared to the situation of people who have been forced to flee their homes where there is no chance for decent living conditions.”

“We would like to thank you for all your support during the last year.” – they conclude.
