MANY BLESSINGS, featuring Primitive Man & Vermin Womb frontman Ethan McCarthy, releases new track “Ruina”

1 min read

MANY BLESSINGS, featuring Primitive Man & Vermin Womb front man Ethan McCarthy, have released a new track titled “Ruina” from the upcoming full-length, “Emanation Body” today via Brooklyn Vegan. About the slow burning and cinematic track, McCarthy comments:

“This song (and the whole album) is greatest with headphones or with your stereo turned up LOUD, naked, in a dark room. ‘Ruina’ is inspired by wanting to self sabotage and ruin everything in your life. BUT I feel like you can only get that claustrophobic chaos vibe if you listen to it like I mentioned.”

“Emanation Body” will be released on May 29, 2020 on vinyl and all digital platforms. Pre-order is available now via Translation Loss Records.

Sonic provocateur Ethan McCarthy of PRIMITIVE MAN and VERMIN WOMB fame presents his sophomore solo effort known as MANY BLESSINGS with a new full-length titled, Emanation Body. Under the MANY BLESSINGS banner, McCarthy drones into walls of harsh noise – experimenting with slow burning movements that undulate with intense crescendos – revealing an opus of inner torment. Over the five new tracks of Emanation Body, rippling, subconscious seeping, and menacing soundscapes soundtrack over 40 minutes of cavernous, all-consuming night terrors.

Recorded mixed & Mastered by Dave Otero at Flatline Audio in Denver, CO in December of 2018.
